Sometimes, I wonder why every time I would meet my mom’s friend or colleague or boss they would ask me about my relationship status. For me, that is kinda weird to ask someone you met for the first time. I’m expecting a ‘How are you?’ question. Well anyway, last Monday, yes just two days ago, it happened again.
I met my mom’s friend, a lawyer. I forgot her name because after saying my name, she was like, “May boyfriend ka na?” I answered, “Wala po.” And she said, “Tama yan, wag muna.” :| She is so firm while saying that.
Then I met my mom’s other boss - Dra. Gomez. She asked me the very same question. And of course, I have the same answer. She won’t believe me until my mom told her that I’m not lying. Then, as she is about to leave, she told me, “MAGBOYFRIEND ka na ha! :)” My mom went crazy about that advice, she was like, “No, not yet. She has to do this and that first blah blah blah.” If you could have just seen her face - priceless. HAHAHA :D
They had never met before, but decided to hug it out in the middle of an airport terminal.
